Journey Worship Team consists of our staff and volunteers who make every worship experience happen. They are the ones who set up, play the music, control the lighting, care for the kids, and dozens of other important things to make our meetings a place where people who are far from God can come home. If you call Journey home, we urge you to get involved and commit to serving on a team at least once a month.
To serve on a team, indicate that you want to talk with one of our leaders. This is where where we explain who we are as a church, discover more about who you are, and find the ways to help you get plugged in and involved in a team.
Once a month, families from around our area step into a food pantry to receive food to keep their children and families fed and their shelves stocked. We partner with a food pantry to provide staffing to make sure everything is ready for these families.
We have a vision to partner with our county jail ministries to bring the message of hope in Christ into our local jail. Through this work inmates can find freedom and hope in Christ.
Addiction is one of the hardest battles that many of us will ever face. We have a vision to to provide support and encouragement to those who are struggling with addictions.
In addition to these programs, we host events to give our people even more opportunities to serve our city.
New York City
Sometimes our mission is closer than we think. New York City, Dallas, Appalacian poor is home to millions of people–the vast majority of whom don’t know Jesus. In the past, we have shared the love of Christ and His message of hope through partnering with other ministries.
Central America and the Carribean
We recently sent a team to Puerto Rico to work with a local ministry. While our team was there, they helped restore a ministry house.
Africa, New Zeeland, China...
Jesus said... the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. What is your vision . . . the vision God placed in your heart. Pray. God will make a way.
